"The Sunday Sit-down" with Lone Star

Texas is known as "The Lone Star State," but on Exit 101 we are known for Lone Star Eatery Grill & Bar. This restaurant offers a lunchtime pizza buffet along with other American classics: Steak, pasta, fish and shrimp, large stuffed potatoes and salads, enchiladas, and fajitas, just to name a few. Although Lone Star has a wide variety of items to offer, they have four featured menu items:

1. Over-Sized Chef Salad: Your CLASSIC salad including ham, turkey, sliced eggs, cheddar cheese, bacon, diced tomatoes, and garlic buttered croutons with your choice of dressing for $10.29

2. Bayside: For SEAFOOD lovers, seasoned grilled tilapia and shrimp served over garlic mashed potatoes and covered with lobster bisque and zucchini. All baked under a layer of mozzarella and served with green onions for $11.69

3. Fried Zucchini: Well it's zucchini... but FRIED and served with ranch for $6.99.

4. In-House Wood Smoked Ribs: For that BBQ taste bud, seasoned and smoked in-house ribs that are "fall off the bone tender" and served with your choice of two sides & garlic bread. Get a half-rack for $12.49 or if you're REALLY hungry get a full rack for $21.99.

Everyone loves Happy Hour, right? They have a full bar and select draft beers with daily drink specials from 4-7pm. Lone Star is locally owned and works to not only satisfy Commerce but Hunt County as a whole. You can find them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
